Parish Councillor Vacancy

Are you looking for a new challenge?
Passionate about where you live?
Want to make a positive difference in our village?
Would like to influence decisions that affect our community?
Would like to offer your skills and experience?
Enjoy working in teams?

 

You need to be willing to give up some of your time. How much depends on you and your commitment to work for your community without being paid.

Parish Council meets once a month (except August & January), usually on the second Thursday. Meetings normally last around 2 hours.

No prior experience needed; enthusiasm and commitment are more important. You simply need to be 18 or over, an elector and have been a resident or worked within 3 miles of the Parish for the last year.
